Product description
45 Amp 6V/12V DFC-50P Car Battery charger with battery repair, maintain and jump start technology
Hazard
The product poses a risk of electric shock and/or fire because of poor build quality and design. The protective earth terminal was secured with a cross head screw which is forbidden by the standard. When tested, no intelligent features were found in the circuit. Additionally, the product was not compliant with the marking requirements of the relevant standard.
This product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
Recall of product from end users and withdrawal of the product from the market.
