There is a potential fault with a batch of Multipurpose SureGrip Fire Extinguishers FE1A10GUK manufactured between October 1999 and August 2000 inclusive. There is a risk that in use the cylinder may not discharge.

An 8 digit batch code will be found stamped on the front of the product label affixed to the product. The batch codes affected by this notice are:

Batch Code RK-754001 to RK-756500 Batch Code RF-606001 to RF-608000 Batch Code RU-723001 to RU-728000

If you have purchased one of the above Multipurpose SureGrip Fire Extinguishers PLEASE DO NOT USE and phone the Coleman First Alert free helpline 0800 317466 (open weekdays from 9.00am to 5.00pm) for a free replacement.

No other First Alert products are affected.
