IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Micromark have been alerted to a potential safety hazard on a small number of the below products, as a result of the cable becoming worn under the plastic motor housing cover.

MICROMARK 12" DESK FAN
MODEL NO. MM9044 (Batch No. ends with …./.9504)

MICROMARK 16" PEDESTAL FAN
MODEL NO. MM9046 (includes Batch No….../95..)

If you have purchased either of these fans during 1995, please take the following action:

1. Disconnect the fan from the power source.

2. Inspect the manufacturer's label on the underside of the base of the 12” desk fan or the rear of the control panel of the 16” pedestal fan, and locate the model number and batch number.

3. For the 12” fan if this model number is MM9044 AND the batch number ends with …././9504

OR

for the 16” fan if this model number is MM9046 AND the batch number includes …./95..

then please do not continue to use the fan but either

a) phone the Micromark Service line on 020 8889 3232, between office hours, who will arrange a free of charge, easy-to-fit replacement part Note: this Service line will also be manned between 9am and 1pm on Saturday 26th August 1995.

OR

b) return the fan to the outlet from which you purchased it for a full refund

ONLY THESE MODEL NUMBERS AND BATCH NUMBERS ARE AFFECTED

No other Micromark products or are affected by this safety notice.
