TO All YAMAHA PORTABLE KEYBOARD DEALERS
REFERENCE KPA1/3 and KPA3 ADAPTORS
It has come to our attention that a small number of KPA1/3 and KPA3 Adaptors have been found to have faulty live or neutral pins.
As a precautionary measure. we would like you to carry out the following action:
1) Check your current stocks and put to one side any KPA1/3 adaptors that you may find. These should be returned to Yamaha-Kemble for credit.
2) At the same time, look at your stocks of KPA3 (These can be found on the body of the adaptor). Any that you find that do not have a date stamp sticker on, or even a date stamp sticker with a date before the lst February, 1990. please also put these to one side to be returned to Yamaha-Kemble for credit.
3) You can continue to sell any KPA3 adaptor which has a date sticker marked from 1st February, 1990 and onwards.
Adaptor models KPA4. KPA5 and PAS are not affected.
