IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE PRODUCT RECALL
Alba DR160 D Cassette Recorder
Alba Radio Limited has been alerted to a potential safety hazard involving the 'figure of 8' mains input socket of the product. In extreme circumstances the pins in the socket may break off and protrude from the mains lead. If this occurs under no circumstances touch the pins whilst the cable is connected to the mains.
The DR160 D cassette recorder has been sold exclusively by Argos Distrbutors Ltd. All customers who have bought this product from Argos since 1st November 1993 should not use it, but return it complete with the mains lead to their nearest Argos store where a full refund will be given.
The Argos catalogue numbers are 511/6274 or 511/9161.
No other Alba product is affected by this recall notice.
