IMPORTANT SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

HOOVER TUMBLE DRYERS

Our Quality Assurance programme has shown the need to carry out a safety modification on some Hoover vented tumble dryers (excluding condenser dryers), to prevent a build up of lint which could, in extreme cases, become a fire risk.

You can continue to use the dryer, but until this modification has been carried out the dryer should not be operated unattended.

Model numbers affected are:
D6986, D6988, D6990, DFO30, SF110, SF111, SF210 & SF211.

With serial numbers: 62100000 to 72609999.

The serial number is found on a label, located in the door recess,
which is visible when the door is open.

If you have one of these dryers we request you to telephone the Hoover Serviceline on FREEPHONE 0800 212335 (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm) and have the details of your product to hand. You will be advised in due course of an appointment for a Hoover service engineer to call.

This modification will be carried out free of charge.

If you have returned a product guarantee card or have already had a Hoover service call to the product you will be contacted direct by mail.
