To owners of 20" Matsui 209 colour television sets.

An important safety announcement.

We have discovered that, in certain circumstances, a component within Matsui 209R and 209T 20" (49cm visible screen size) television sets may fail and dangerously overheat, creating a small risk of fire.

These sets were purchased after July 1992 in Dixons and Currys shops. No other Matsui set is affected.

We are asking owners to contact us so we can modify the set. This will be done free of charge and at a time convenient to you.

You should unplug and not use the set until you have contacted the telephone number for full safety instructions.
